PS Mbugua Holds Consultative Talks on Road Development in Rural Counties

Nairobi, Tuesday 20th January, 2026: Principal Secretary, Eng. Joseph Mbugua, this morning held a consultative meeting with the Woman Representative for Lamu County, Hon. Muthoni Marubu, and the Member of Parliament for Maragua Constituency, Hon. Mary Wamaua, during a courtesy call at his office.

The engagement focused on strengthening collaboration to advance road infrastructure development in the two regions. The leaders reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and discussed upcoming initiatives aimed at improving connectivity and enhancing ease of movement for residents.

The discussions reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to delivering efficient, reliable, and inclusive road networks as a catalyst for socio-economic transformation.

The Principal Secretary reiterated that sustained investment in infrastructure remains central to the Government’s development agenda, supporting regional integration and promoting inclusive and sustainable growth.
