President William Ruto Launches Sirwa–Kimngoron Road Improvement Project in Baringo County

 H.E President William Samoei Ruto on Friday 9th January, 20275 officially launched the 10-kilometre Sirwa–Kimngoron Road Improvement Project in Mogotio, Baringo County, marking a major boost to infrastructure development in the region.

The project is expected to significantly improve connectivity within Mogotio and its environs, facilitating smoother transportation of farm produce and livestock, and enhancing access to markets. By opening up the area, the road upgrade will stimulate trade and create new economic opportunities for local communities.

The Sirwa–Kimngoron Road Improvement Project is part of the Government’s wider agenda to strengthen rural road networks as a foundation for economic growth, improved service delivery, and better livelihoods.

The event was attended by H.E Benjamin Cheboi, EBS the Governor of Baringo County, Eng. Jackson K Magindu the Ag. Director General, Kenya Rural Roads Authority and other national and local leaders, highlighting the project’s strategic importance to both county and national development priorities.
