Ruto Inspects Key Taita-Taveta Road Projects as Government Pushes Connectivity and Economic Growth

H.E. President William Ruto recently inspected ongoing road infrastructure projects in Taita-Taveta County, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to strengthening connectivity and accelerating economic transformation.
The tour focused on the 55km Mto Mwagodi–Dawida–Mbale–Wundanyi–Bura Junction Road in Mwatate Constituency, a critical project steadily taking shape and poised to significantly improve mobility while unlocking economic opportunities across the region.
The developments highlight the Government’s sustained focus on delivering high-impact infrastructure that enhances livelihoods and supports inclusive regional growth.
Also present were Principal Secretary for Roads Eng. Joseph Mbugua, Taita-Taveta Governor, Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Hon. Salim Mvurya, Kenya Rural Roads Authority Director General Eng. Jackson Magondu, and local leaders.
